Account documents for the year ending 31 March 2023 have now been published. Please note that this year these documents will be subject to an external audit so are at present treated as being unaudited. The exercise of public rights period starts on 5 June and ends on 14 July 2023.

Loddington celebrated the Coronation with a Big Picnic in the Recreation Ground on Sunday 7th May. This was well supported with residents celebrating with family and friends. Refreshments, ice creams and cream teas were provided in the Pavilion. The children really enjoyed the games and races in the glorious sunshine.
Thank you to Alan, Trish & Robert Durn and Mark & Kate Reneerkens for organising the picnic. Also, Phil Sutcliffe and Tom Tomkins who helped with setting up on the day. A huge thank you to the ladies serving in the pavilion Dorothy Stephen, Amanda Sturgess, Jean Spendlove and Jo Garratt.
Loddington Parish Council have planted a black walnut tree in the recreation ground. A plaque has been engraved, dedicating the tree to the children of the village.
Come along and have fun at the Big Picnic at Loddington Recreation Ground on Sunday 7th May between 2 and 5pm. Bring your own picnic. Refreshments and cream teas will be provided in the Pavilion. Children’s games are planned. We look forward to seeing you there.
The Annual Parish meeting will take place on 4 May at 7.30 pm, this will be followed by the Annual and Parish Council meetings. The agendas for these meetings are now available to view.
To coincide with this year’s Great British Spring Clean, Loddington’s annual litter pick will be taking place on Sunday 2nd April from 10.00am until 12.00pm. We shall start and finish at the Pavilion in the playing field and refreshments will be served afterwards. Please come along and join in. All welcome.
A big thank you to Mark Reneerkens, our Litter Warden for arranging this and for all the work that he does throughout the year along with other volunteers to keep our lovely village clean.
